Little Star Celebrates Their 1st Birthday

They say time flies when you’re having fun. What that should actually read is time flies when you decide to launch a jewellery brand, because this week Little Star hits its first anniversary and much of what has been an amazing first year appears to have gone past in a blur.

Having a great deal of experience in both ladies and childrens jewellery I initially set out with ideas to start a kids brand only, the fact that we’ve been able to launch and grow what is predominantly a kids brand but mixed with ladies pieces is one which is very pleasing as it means I get to spend more time on my first love and the heart of Little Star, the product itself.

From the start there was real focus on making sure Little Star offers the best possible product, whether that be putting love, care and attention into the design so that we’re giving something extra in terms of detail or quality in premium pieces like our Xandra solid silver diamond set Christening Bangle:

Or whether it was using long trusted factories and partners capable of making a quality product we can be proud of seeing in jewellers windows and being worn around necks and wrists big and small.

It is fantastic that Little Star has been so well received and with stockists in all corners of the UK and the labour of love that is our own website we’re confident that we can fulfil requirements for anyone wanting a piece of jewellery to mark a special occasion. Whether that be a christening bangle or holy communion gift, jewellery for a new mum like our gorgeous Tori ladies Rose gold star, our Mummy & Me range with matching necklaces and bangles for parent and child to celebrate their bond, a first day at school or birthday, or even just a token of love, all our jewellery is designed and made to mark special moments.

As we enter our second year and reflect on the first it is with sense of happiness for how far we’ve come in a short space of time, but most importantly with one of thanks to everyone who has been involved in the launch and growth of Little Star in the past year. We’ve also had some great fun along the way from behind the scenes at our sometimes mad photoshoots, through to seeing new towns and places we’d never dreamed of visiting right around the UK and we cannot wait for what 2018 brings, what we do know is that we will be ready.
